Regional pricing is unusual in this category. Almost every tool in this directory charges the same twenty dollars everywhere, which quietly prices out large parts of the world.
What you get
The plan includes access to Cursor models — specifically Grok 4.5 at fixed medium effort and non-fast, and Composer, also non-fast.
Two constraints are doing the work there. "Fixed medium effort" means you cannot dial reasoning up for hard problems. "Non-fast" means you queue behind paid-tier requests at busy times.
Who it is actually for
This is a plan for people for whom twenty dollars a month is the difference between using an AI editor and not using one. On that measure it is a genuinely useful product, and the constraints are the right ones to trade away — slower responses and fixed reasoning still beat no assistant.
It is not a downgrade path for teams elsewhere. The plan is region-specific.
The pattern worth watching
Cursor shipped Router on 22 July to let teams tune cost per request, then Start on 28 July to lower the floor entirely. Both are pricing moves dressed as product moves.
